Steamship Mutual creates new web page related to US tariffs and trade

Group Club Steamship Mutual has said that the Club, particularly its global offices in New York and Hong Kong, were monitoring closely developments in relation to the USTR section 301 Investigation and recent ‘reciprocal tariff’ announcements from the United States and China.

As a result it has created a new page on its web site that “is designed to keep Members up to date with the latest industry information and updates from our correspondents and other recognised sources regarding developments in the United States and China”.

The Club noted however that “the situation is dynamic” and that the operational status of these tariffs was subject to change at any time. Members were therefore advised to contact their local agents for the latest advice.
