Eftihia is a graduate of Economics Science (National and Kapodestrian University, Athens) and holds a Master of Science in Marketing and Management (Loughborough University, UK).
Her career in Shipping commenced in 2009 when she first joined Aries Marine Insurance Brokers Ltd, where she accumulated a holistic experience by being involved in all aspects of Marine Insurance (P&I, FD&D, H&M and Ancillary covers etc.). In 2019 she assumed the role of Senior Client Executive (on Marine Practice) for Marsh LLC Insurance Brokers (Athens) offering expert client service to major shipping accounts by means of prompt and customized day to day handling. In October 2021 she re-joined the team of Aries, as Marine Insurance Broker.
Her economics background, in-depth knowledge of marine insurance, supported by her strong negotiation and interpersonal skills plays a vital role in maintaining excellent relations with Customers, Underwriters and Associates.
She is a Certified Insurance Intermediary by the Bank of Greece and has attended (amongst others) the Residential Training Course in P&I and Loss Prevention (North of England).
